Scratching The Surface

“Scratching the surface” bedeutet die Kreation aus etwas Leblosem. Die Gravur als Idee des Lebens auf einer Steinwand. Die Erschaffung eines lebendigen Gesichtes, welches dort als Symbol bestehen bleibt, wo das Leben sonst keinen Platz hat.

Streetartist Vhils will uns mit seiner Arbeit daran erinnern, wer wir sind. Wir Menschen umgeben von unorganischer Umwelt und zubetonierter Natur müssen unter die Pflastersteine schauen – denn dort verbirgt sich der Strand.
