We all seek to fulfil our desires. The stream of information never runs dry, but which signals will succeed in attracting and keeping our attention, and which will account for an enduring experience? The interaction between fact and fiction, between revelation and concealment, is shaping our daily routine, our style, our life. Which forces are most appealing?

TheJunction showcases impulses, joints between society, art, nature and the human body. In the 50s there were gender role stereotypes, in the 60s futurism and artificiality. Later emancipation, liberation and self-evolvement, the androgynous and the synthetic left their mark on the decades. Like fashion, the code of temptation is continually changing…

Now we are here, way beyond excess, a new decade, a new millennium, a new momentum. Be it tender or tough, brash or playful, we take what we want from the pool of endless temptations, without having to commit to just one topic. We dare to show emotion and take a stand, we aren’t flawless and we like to break away from the established.  Perfect symmetry might be beautiful, but is it really inspiring?

TheJunction is an online magazine and a space where trans- cultural, creative and undefined impulses come together. The website is a mix of editorial articles, audio-visual media and intriguing impulses.

From our head office in Berlin we rummage through online and print media every day, looking for interesting, thrilling and unique impulses, that originate from various cultural streams and we put them on our website. It is diversity that is so alluring. We move freely, we take what appeals to us, we’re spontaneous and we opt for new things every day. What we see, what we feel, that’s TheJunction.
